Stepping away from raiding

I want to start by saying that I LOVE raiding with you guys. It has just become, at least for me, a chore to stay ready for the raids. I also have to balance the fact that I keep my wife's account going with tokens. I recently went through enough gold to buy 2 tokens. My wife and I took a break during the World of Gold expansion so we don't have the funds to keep things going easily. I am also not happy that my mage is not performing as well as I would like her to. I am not sure what I might be doing wrong but she is not coming together the way I would like her to. I would like to return to raiding in the future, it is just too much work and not enough fun atm.
