Cool preview of what to expect in the 20 man raid.

This is the most promising thing I read in that article....

"Is Genetic Archives any good?

For me, the answer is a resounding yes! Despite this being beta and bugs being fairly common I can honestly say that my time spent in the Genetic Archives (something like 100 hours so far) has been the most fun IÔÇÖve had in MMO raiding in years. For the following reasons:

ÔÇó WildstarÔÇÖs combat system, which adds a new level of fun to fights and allows the use of some crazy telegraphs (both in design and sheer amounts).
ÔÇó Encounter design, which keeps encounters feeling fresh and varied and promotes good use of the ability to change your LAS setup between fights.
ÔÇó The Carbine raid/instance team (Timetravel/Tyrius/Beepz/Hildogen and the rest) whoÔÇÖs passion comes across in how fast they fix bugs and the constant tweaking of encounters based on feedback as well as the amount of time they spend with raiding guilds simply observing and chatting about the content.

Obviously balancing is an ongoing process, especially with the rune and item pass coming which may significantly affect player power. As it stands I think Genetic Archives is in a fairly good place right now in terms of the difficulty curve. Initial fights are forgiving enough to allow a lot of guilds to get their feet wet, especially if they wait until they take advantage of Veteran Dungeon and Elder Gem Gear. Later fights have much higher requirements in terms of both coordination and raid damage/healing output.

Given what IÔÇÖve seen so far, if Carbine can continue the trend and make more of the same for the 40 man then IÔÇÖll be hooked for life. Personally, I have faith that they can deliver and canÔÇÖt wait to see what the future holds."

I am so excited to sink my teeth into this game, and I hopeful it does well!

Not a bad read. I've watched a ton of the videos on the raids and they look amazing. High level of communication and coordination is going to be needed but it's going to feel very rewarding when you win.
