check your email

Post by Ausghostdog » Mon Dec 16, 2013 9:35 pm

It's Tuesday that means a round of keys have just gone out, stress test and full time testing keys have been confirmed as released.

In the event we had guildies in the beta and those same guildies happened to not only have friend codes, but have an extra, I would think the best way to show that someone was really interested in beta would be first by contributing positive constructive posts about revealed systems, speculation on information gleaned from approved sources, and being involved in at the very least Wildstar chats on TS or during the Debuffed cast.
We have several members who are salivating over Wildstar in all time zones, many of them (okay us) will talk and speculate about Wildstar until your ears bleed. Come find us on twitter, come find us in TS ... ask in the forums if and when people will be around. I know the guild has a East coast population bias, but if you reach out, many of us (even the Westies) are dying for people to talk Wildstar with. We would love to know that our community helped test and develop what appears to be a very very promising game. There are so many systems that we know so little about, Crafting, Warplots, Arenas, Mounts, Raids, Elder Game, AMP, Milestones .... seriously I'm not even trying yet. All these systems will need to be tested ... Lastly I would think & hope that IF we had spare keys laying around they would go to people who actually want to break & bug the game, rather than get an extended free trial.

K, I'm done, time to get off the soap box. Sorry for the rant, and thanks for the heads up to go look.

I find most of the time I'll get a key at some point if I don't that will just make launch more awesome!

Wildstar is shaping up to be a pretty interesting title. They have a loot of cool features, beside the standard raiding scene I really want to find out more about crafting and the housing. Those will probably be my two biggest time sinks.

To the people that get into Beta AWESOME, when they drop the nda expect me to hammer you with questions. Until then have fun and check everything out for us!

I would find it that most of us fit that criteria that we have already joined this gaming family in the hopes of a release in the Wildstar title......Sooner then later however ;)

It may be an unfair generalization of me, but in the event I found myself in the enviable position of having spare keys and was going to give one to a guild mate I would want to see a "body of work" something that made me comfortable giving that key away ....

Here's why, all beta keys are specifically linked to the email account for which they were issued. That's nothing new, here's the wrinkle: those friend keys are also linked to the account from which they originated, meaning if someone on a friend account commits a ban-able action not only do they lose access, but so does the sponsor account and related friend accounts. To my knowledge its a new kind of accountability in a beta, what im saying is I would be more inclined to share with an active individual than people who are less active or constantly lament their beta condition.

We are overjoyed to have so many people joining us these days, Grievance is an amazing community, I'm proud to be a part of it. I'm merely encouraging people to be positively involved.

Personally, from a guild perspective, if I had a friend key, I would make sure the guild officers all had keys, so they could begin organizing their respective guilds for the onslaught of members that will come with open beta and launch.

Yes I heard the rolled this out.....I actually like the idea it avoids people just giving them out through message boards etc.....It also has affected some of the streamers from Twitch.tv as they are not able to gain viewers by giving them away cause they know they are held accountable.

It's good to "assume" all officers are in game already playing and putting a foot down to grow the Grievance family in game. If I had keys I would offer however I have not received an invite at this time and presume to have high hopes that I get in the next round. I know they are doing a stress test which normally indicates they are getting ready to open up servers so we will see. In the mean time I am learning the via forums and streams to make sure I can keep pace once I am in :)

I love this attitude! I wish I could convey my tone thru type but alas I am not such a skilled writter. My wife said they seemed kind of angry, which was not my intent, so I apologize if they were construed that way.
