I love healing in MMO's it's one of the most rewarding experiences I've had gaming. I've done both pvp and pve. I'm also a pretty handy dps. I'm also an alt-o-holic I'll have a couple healers and dps floating around.
I think the best part of joining a guild/community is the friendships you make and the fun you have while doing what you love to do.
Let's see about me I'm 33 my first MMO was Lineage 2, I played EQ2, and then went into Rift and SWTOR. I've been in a lot of smaller guilds and this time I'm looking to join more of a community and form some longer lasting relationships. Smaller guilds seem to be able to break over the smallest things, being forced to join new guilds every 3 months isn't fun, no one likes the drama lama. In SWTOR the guild I was in changed faces so many times it was unbelievable, but we crushed content and had fun right up until the final break up about year and half after launch.
I have an awesome wife that doesn't game but doesn't care that I do. She is super supportive and even bought me a new keyboard and a desk chair for my habit.

So why Wildstar, well the game looks like it will, be fun I love the comedy aspect and the movement based game play. I think the learning curve is going to be fun and I think good guilds/players are going to really stand out. I like that the raids are going to be bigger, that the housing looks fun, and I can spend hours just sitting around building things.
Previously mentioned I love healing, especially in a raid environment. I can rock some pvp heals to but I love raid healing. I think raiding is probably the reason most of us get into the MMO verse it's the most demanding and rewarding aspect of the game for me. I can't wait to get started in Wildstar the way that have talked about raids moving and changing each week or having different paths sounds exciting.
Anything else you want to know feel free to ask. I can't wait to get started!
Also just a wee but more I work in the financial industry but don't hold that against me.
