So which path interests you most for your first toon?

I have to admit, I'm having alot of trouble deciding which would be best for me. I love lore, and in most games I complete every single quest I can find, so I'm thinking about the Scientist path, but I also really really love exploring and building too. This will probably end up being an actual tough decision for me.

So how bout y'all? What paths do you like? Do you imagine any of them will have any sort of distinct advantage?

I did wonder if the warrior path would get faster XP from more kill missions, but I'm actually not sure whether we're even working with XP technically yet. What do you guys think?

In order of interest to me ....

Scientist
Soldier
Explorer
Settler

In actuality I was torn between Scientist & Explorer for my first char, however my wife will be playing an explorer for her first so it seems fitting to pair a Scientist with her Explorer, my solo char will likely be a soldier ... I'm not the kind of player who hangs around towns and just "is social" I am almost always out exploring or farming, so being rewarded for doing so sounds awesome.

I'm still not sure on the path. I may hold out my decision until beta. I'm slightly leaning toward scientist, but that's due to my main character, it fits.

I've been bouncing back and forth on scientist or explorer.

Probably explorer for me, the go there kill X rats and bring back five bear arses quest model is really getting old for me, explorer seems a bit more dynamic.

For me my first 2 will be explorer and scientist. Which one I pick first not sure. I may dabble with the settler and Soldier but that will be several alts later probably.

Likely either scientist and or settler. I love lore even though i never rember most of ot and settler jusf seems awesome haha. Never been a top combat person and never been good at jump puzzle and the like.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's conflicted. I bet I could actually rock alot of the jumping puzzles with an xbox controller, though I'm sure that probably won't work. I had completely forgotten that the scientist could unlock new dangerous monsters too until I went back and watched the video again. I hope they gimmie more details soon for the final two classes playstyles. I'm really looking forward to all of these choices
