Hi all. I searched through various posts on the Wildstar Central forums to see if any guilds caught my attention. I must say, after reading through the entire code of conduct and other various writings regarding the Grievance guild, I was thoroughly impressed. So, a little about me.
My RL name is Chris, and I live on the Central Coast of California. I am 32 yeas old, single, no children, and work in the Finance industry. I am a huge numbers geek. Spreadsheets? Yes please! Need to figure out formulas and probabilities, I'm all over it. I typically create female characters since I am predominantly a healer in all MMO games I have played (and for those who are familiar with a certain anime franchise, you might recognize my character names as I make them). Why do I like healing in MMO's? Well, as the saying goes, "tanks get blamed for wiping a group, dps get blamed for boss' enraging, but healers get cred for saving the group". It's a good gig to be a healer
I have played several MMO's, including WoW (from Vanilla to Cata), Rift, SWTOR, and GW2. All of them have their aspects of fun however, I felt like all of them (except for WoW for the most part) filled every need I had for an MMO. I am not a big PvP'er although I do not mind PvP'ing with guildies (no PvP pug groups for me). I am a hardcore raider. Something about the challenge of achieving a common goal with a large group of friends is an amazing feeling, especially after wiping for days on end.
To conclude, I am very happy to get to know each and every one of you over time. I have realized the biggest thing missing for me in all of my past and current MMO experiences is finding a real family of gamers that I can interact and associate with while gaming. I look forward to participating and contributing to the Grievance guild and representing the guild in a positive manner in Wildstar. Damn, I am so excited to start playing this game! Be on the lookout for my speeder and buff hubs on the map!
I canÔÇÖt exactly fight a war with a big smile on my face.
