You should never shower someone with houses!Xexios wrote:I signed up.I showed my wife and she is interested in this game as well, right after I showered her the housing video!
But yeah, my girlfriend had a similar squee over warplots. She is much more bloodthirsty than I.

Signed up with another email and included the Grievance information!

Re: Beta Signups
This raises a question for me. I know I've tried to sign up more than once, in fact my first sign up was ages ago when I first learned of Wildstar - it's looked appealing to me forever. However, I know I've re-applied at least once, and then again a while back when I saw Grievance including the guild information in signups. Each time of course was with my main e-mail address, which makes me wonder a) if signing up multiple times can/will be held against me or b) if later signups are just discarded by the system, will my association with Grievance be included.Michigander wrote:Signed up with another email and included the Grievance information!
Frankly I have terrible luck with beta access, and I'm just being paranoid here, but being associated with Grievance I think is my best chance at beta access, especially when it comes to 40 man raiding which I'm super stoked about. Hopefully I haven't ruined that, although I suspect that when they grant guild access they'll probably confer with the leaders to make sure everyone gets in. Who knows?
I JUST NEED WILDSTAR IN MY VEINSSSSSSSSSSSSsssss.... tmi? Sorry...

Good question! I have done many betas but never in a guild setting so this will be new to me! I am sure if you get picked for beta, you could still probably run with the guild, even if you didn't add the guild information at the beginning! As for changing your information, I doubt it decreases your chances. I just figured I would try one email address with the Grievance guild information to see if it would help the chances.

Re: Beta Signups
Well I discovered the answer to one of my questions while looking at everything I could find Wildstar tonight - their system automatically deals with (and does not punish) multiple signups, so I don't think I have to worry in that regard. In fact, in that specific discussion, as in many other places, it was stated that Carbine "just tries to do what is reasonable" - which would lead me to believe that on the guild front they won't rely solely on beta signups but would coordinate with leaders to make sure an appropriate team gets in.
Now we just need to hope that Grievance gets noticed

Re: Beta Signups
How do we get noticed? I assume they will announce something in the future. I just thought they would go by beta apps since we had to put down "group" in the app itself. At least I had hoped, because we had a lot of people apply!Optimus wrote:Well I discovered the answer to one of my questions while looking at everything I could find Wildstar tonight - their system automatically deals with (and does not punish) multiple signups, so I don't think I have to worry in that regard. Carbine and the Wildstar team did get a press release from us, so maybe that helped a little??
