For the most part, I like the GW2 model. I am not that fond of Neverwinters. I don't like having to pay to unlock content like in LOTRO. I'd rather pay a sub and get the whole game to play.

Re: "Hybrid" Payment Model
I do not care, I will pay whatever I find to be reasonable.
Re: "Hybrid" Payment Model
I would pay a sub if there is one, depending on what is attached to it. The option to either have one or not would be nice. Especially when you run into those months where you need those few extra bucks to go elsewhere
And I'm fine with a cash shop as long as a single outfit or mount doesn't cost 20 bucks...that's a bit much

Re: "Hybrid" Payment Model
I'm kind of hoping this will be sub based rather than micro transactions. Its just tough for companies to do micro transactions "honestly". I mean there is always that temptation to you know, be able to eat meat if you are a game dev. So if you've got a f2p game with micro transactions things tend to get really grindy at end game or I guess elder game.
I know it sucks to have content blocked like the LOTRO, EQII and SWTOR models but thats not a bad way of providing free to play in a game that is really sub based. Particularly in something like EQII where gold membership can be purchased from other players via Krono's. Thats actually a pretty good system for everyone involved.

Re: "Hybrid" Payment Model
I prefer a Buy to play method, buy the game upfront with no sub needed and pay for the expansions, those being the only required fees and there be no gameplay/features restrcions what so ever, while having as many cosmetic items via micro-transactions as they want to keep the money flowing.
Failing getting that method right i would still easily go for a simply sub based game with no other silly payments, like having to pay to unlock a race/species even though you got a sub ( looking at you SWTOR).
I really don't want to see a free to play game with stupid restrictions that actually slows down or even halts your game-play experience.
