How to avoid BETA Burn Out?

Post by Dino » Thu Nov 12, 2015 7:15 pm

Seriously I am wondering about people tips and tricks to avoid Burnout but to get the most out of Beta weekends.

I am enjoing BnS, a lot. I skipped last BETA weekend to help with my Burnout issues.

It seems that leveling is pretty fast and hitting 45 will happen in a week or two of leveling. I have heard the dynamic of the game changes between 30-40 and becomes much harder (survival wise) and your talent spec change at this point, and then again (possibly at 45).

I want to be able to play and experience these changes and work on my builds/abilitites for PvE and PvP during testing. Especially in order to provide feedback. But I also know if I MAX out in BETA and do all the dungeons etc. I am not going to be excited about the game when it actually releases. So I haven't been playing...

...But I really want to...

Ack.

Wish I had some tips to give but wondering the same thing myself. Got each class to jadestone and bit nervous about going forward. Going to try and play more fallout 4 then B&S this weekend but not sure how well that will work.

I'm doing my best to limit how many classes I play in beta so as not to get that been there/done that feeling from playing all of them. Also focusing on crafting stuff as I never get tired of that (especially in this game where the crafting system is so different from anything else).

I will be doing my best to explore and get a feel for every zone I can get into though, just so at least the outlines are familiar. It makes things easier once the game goes live if I'm not quite so nervous the first time I take a level 11 player into a level 45 area.
