New WildStar Realms Incoming

First, we want to thank everyone for their amazing support as we enter this new and exciting chapter for WildStar. Since we launched WildStar Free-to-Play three days ago, weÔÇÖve experienced enormous demand from players. WeÔÇÖre thrilled by the overwhelming enthusiasm to see all of what Nexus has to offer ÔÇô and that so many people are excited to play WildStar.

We also recognize there have been some issues. Since we launched earlier this week, a huge number of new and returning players have experienced the game. We understand that, for some, the experience hasnÔÇÖt been what it should be. Frankly, our megaservers are not handling the load they should. This means our server capacity isnÔÇÖt keeping up with demand. We are working very hard to fix this and making improvements every hour. That doesnÔÇÖt change the fact that some users are experiencing long queue times, delays when trying to create new characters, and intermittent lag.

While we're making progress, itÔÇÖs clear we need to do more. In the next 24 hours, weÔÇÖll be adding new hardware that will enable us to open up four realms across the United States and Europe. Adding these realms will significantly increase the amount of players who can get into WildStar. We believe that this will address the issues above, dramatically improving the game experience, reducing lag, and improving queues. Once we have resolved the current issues, we plan to merge these additional realms.

ItÔÇÖs important to us that every player has an amazing time on Nexus. We are focused on delivering that experience.

This is great news. I've had a blast so far on Wildstar however since it's F2P launch, the ability lag has made the game almost unplayable.

Don't be discouraged everyone! Just be patient and hopefully in a week's time, these issues will be long gone.. And here's hoping our Embassy will continue to grow as well!
