Class Mastery Costumes

Post by Martine » Tue Jul 21, 2015 2:04 pm

There are probably more like me that didn't actually know that there are class mastery costumes. I found out when megahurt5 posted a screenshot of his Berzerker in the master outfit. So, I went diving around looking for more of the mastery costumes. I kinda pulled my brother, Hietala, into helping me look for them and it proved to be challenging especially with the "Aelinet Migration" thing that kept popping up. Eventually, we found one that was a little scrambled and eventually one that laid out the majority of the costumes all in one spot. Some others may find it interesting, but instead of hot-linking or taking the images and posting here, I'll post the original thread.

Some of those I wouldn't mind wearing. Thanks for the find!

Not sure if I heard this right or not, but will there be a shop or store for this game to buy costumes? I doubt I will be able to get the 70k threads I need to buy the red alchemist outfit on the auction house. I wouldn't mind spending real money on it just to get it.

You can buy packs of Celestial Threads in the market. If you wanted to pay instead of farm threads, and they're only available for threads, you could always buy argents and buy the threads packs. Not sure how much this would cost to get enough threads though.

They also have a lot more costumes that were available for testing in CBT, that they will roll out and make available over time in OBT/release.

It's my understanding that you can eventually earn the alternate colored class costumes for free in the future as well, they just come from higher prestige content.

I also found this morning, that you can get class costumes from the Training Room by completing a classes training. These are different from the mastery outfits. But they are pretty nice. Only come in one color set though.

I unlocked the Berzerker mastery costume yesterday and I love it. I actually looked at all the other ones and feel like they did a great job with the mastery costume. I prefer them to the more "exposing" initial class costume which I believe are a bit questionable in some case (Slayer and Zerker comes to mind).

I am happy to see "end game" costume that are more fabric and less skin compared to what we are usually presented with in most MMO.

Ran the math on this, WAY to expensive to buy 70k threads.
