Excited

Post by Burnsync » Wed Nov 12, 2014 6:28 pm

So excited to see this in embassies section.. hoping to be one of the for front people with up and coming information about this game.

So far there are 3 confirmed starting classes..

1. Cryomancer

2. Paladin

3. Lightbender

According to the skyforge fourms the leveling system is more like that of a MOBA(massive online battle arena)

you dont stay with the starting class but advance to higher level classes that you can switch to at any time during the game as long as you have unlocked them and are no longer in combat

Lightbender? Haven't heard of that one yet, but sounds cool.

Has anyone been playing the daily mini-game for a chance of getting into the closed beta?

Ok, now I'm sad. I thought a Lightbinder would be a healing class, but instead its just a support class and apparently Skyforge WON'T have any healing class(unless in God mode). Sucks. :(

I've been trying out the little mini game for a chance at the beta invite, but lost all my gems after hitting one of the black gems so no joy so far but i'll try again tomorrow. As for the healing, yeah no straight out healer class instead health orbs will be dropped off of killed mobs and support classes will offer mitigation buffs to help out and other cools things I am sure.

As for healing in God form, I don't know if that is planned. However I will say characters in their God form are pretty wicked cool. While I recommend watching the full video to see more cool things about Skyforge, this part shows off some one playing in their God form while helping out in a instanced fight.

edit: Uh I seem to have forgot to mention this video shows off some early game play for the Berserker before it was official announced with the trailer and it shows a archer class as well.

Ive been following the game for about 6 months know. I just started slipping down the "meh" slope with it. All Ive been seeing is PvE combat that looks very similar to TERA and not much outside of this. No crafting and most of all lack luster PvP in the form of small arenas.

Today I watched the announcement on the Pantheon system (guilds) and more importantly, the Pantheon War system. Now im all in for this game, I just hope this is something the Grievance chapter is planning on taking part in.
