You bet! Starting with work stuff, I'm an aviation consultant in D.C. Airports hire us to lobby airlines on their behalf, usually to get new or increased service. It's a ton of fun, and it makes it easy to stay in touch with my former coworkers from the airlines I've worked at. It's a very data-heavy field, with tons of analysis, so you'd think I'd be into theorycrafting, but somehow it never lured me...
Having worked at various airlines over the past 15 years, I've done a ton of traveling, but I like short flights, so it's mostly been domestic U.S. flying. Love playing blackjack, so about half those flights are to gamble - you'd be surprised how good Kansas City's casinos are, by the way
I don't quite know the word, but I'm not an "avid" cyclist, however I'm somewhere close. The big news in D.C. this summer was the expansion of the metro system, which goes to my office, so I'll be riding my bike every evening on the way home. Most of the time I ride my old quasi-hybrid bike from 2001 - it's old and heavy and is great for burning extra calories
Gamewise, I'm a PC guy all the way (thank you, Destiny, for the console-only release until 2015...). When I want to unplug from MMOs, I'm primarily an RPG and sim player. So things like Baldur's Gate, the Fallout series, etc. are huge for me, as well as city-building games, and I'm at something like 1,100 hours of playtime in Kerbal Space Program (although a lot of that time is letting satellites scan planets when I'm at work).
Love to read, but barely seem to find the time anymore. I'm mostly into sci-fi these days - currently on the second of the Hyperion novels - really great stuff. The last couple hundred pages are some of the most riveting stuff I've read.
Life-wise, I've got a gamer boyfriend, but he's primarily into consoles. Surprisingly, it doesn't cause any conflict! We've got three cats, which means we basically wear cat-fur coats all day every day.
Oh and I should also mention, I've bought ArcheAge and am looking forward to giving that a try. I haven't read much on what people plan to do in the game, but I really like the idea of being in a navy. Protecting traders, sinking pirate ships, rallying when called - that sounds like a ton of fun. And this is coming from a person who barely ever PvPs
Gotta run, though - boss is wondering where his Powerpoints are =D
