My name is Marc, I usually game under some sort of name that has Marc in it. Tried out every class/race in beta and have been most drawn to Aurin, Granok, Chua, and Mechari. Spellslinger, Esper and Medic were the classes that I liked the most. I'm not much of the healer type, but I found Medic to actually be kinda fun!

My wife and I, along with another couple who are RL friends are going to apply for membership. We will also have around 6 other online friends be posting their applications in the coming week or so. We are all from a couple of old guilds that have played together over the years in several games just like Grievance has. Unfortunately both of our guilds have slowly declined in activity over the past few years as our friends have moved on to other interests in their lives. The 8 or 10 of us who will be applying hope to stay together, while joining a new larger family of friends.
About me:
I'm 45 years old, happily married to a wife who games, senior software engineer (code monkey) who among other things is a former Marine. We live in the Seattle, WA area. I have a grown son who is almost 21 and lives on the other side of town from me. I've played online games since back in the day when I dialed up to a BBS and played MajorMUDD. I've played EQ, SWG, Warcraft, WoW, LOTRO, RIFT, DCUO, SWToR, COH, Secret World, and I LOVE the Assassin's Creed series. I will be taking a toon up to 12, just so I can start the old guild with him. Primary reason is to prevent the off chance that some random bozo at some point would want to call their guild Obscuri Lateris. Can't have that....only a few of us bozos are allowed to have that guild name.
Anyhow, you folks seem to have a nice community going and we're hoping to find a place in it where we can have some fun being gamer geeks and have a few laughs while making new friends.
