Spellslinger?

So... Martine convinced me to play (at least for a few) at launch. The only class I found during the OB that I cared for much was the spellslinger. Any suggestions on more useful skills as you start gaining levels? I didn't get very high as my mind was distracted elsewhere.

As soon as you get Wild Barrage start using it with your spellpower for an opener. It still feels really powerful at low levels. I'm not a huge fan of Ignite but used it until Flame Burst was available. Wild Barrage, Rapid Fire, and flame Burst will be your babies until true shot becomes available to you. Until later on or if your fighting mobs above your level most things wont get past a Wild Barrage/Flame Burst/Rapid Fire/Flame Burst combo.

Early on in AMP's I would go Assault Power, Lifesteal, and Deadly Chain. After that fill them in where you like I normally go armor penetration, Strike through and then pick up the support critical hit and critical severity.
