Hello, my name is jim

I live in Seattle, i am a stay at home father who lives off disability (the Navy was kind enough to destroy my wrists so my typing is bad). I have only one job and that's taking care of my special needs son.
I played wow from day one but quit after BC, I played EQ, gw2, warhammer, swtor.
I put in 40 hours a week without really trying hard with any MMO i play.

I have applied to Hardcore guilds but so far they have mocked me because i have not raided since grulls lair.
i plan on playing both exiles and dominion. ( I have A LOT of time on my hands).

so i will have mains on both sides (Raid worthy mains).

I did that when i played wow I had a asian guild i played with 4 times a week 3am to 7 am
and I raided with my american friends saturday and sunday 12 pm to 12 am. (never ever raid for 12 hours it stops being fun really really fast.)

I am pretty much a shut in I have no friends and i need a home. A home that wont disband 6 months after release
only so much i can do by myself : D

Welcome to the family, Jim! I assure you that Grievance will not disband after 6 month so it is safe to say you have found your forever home in Wildstar!

I, too am a mom to 2 special needs children, so I understand the time and patience needed to live that special life. My children are on the Autism spectrum, although my oldest is high functioning and my 7 year old is moderatly Autistic..I am also a pretty big shut in.. lol We don't do birthday parties or sports (never really invited to birthday parties since oldest is in virtual school and youngest is in the ESE class, and kids do not have any interest in sports)...life here is as far from Atypical as ones life can be, and we like it that way!

My kids are growing up to be gamers like their parents, and of course a huge dash of Geek in them as well!

I look forward to getting to know you, and although we have 2 guilds in Wildstar on opposing factions you will find us all hanging out in the general Wildstar lounge during beta weekends. That may change come launch for organizing things a bit better, but I am sure once things calm down you may find us all chatting up in the general lounge again. We may be on opposing factions but we are all still Grievance!

I am a bit long winded, sorry haha!

Grab our teamspeak info from the board index and hop on when you can. Things may be slow until next beta, but there are usually some hanging around in channel during the evening hours!

Open beta is going to be announced this week along with how we are going to save our names.
I assume it will start next weekend so we will have 2ish weeks to play open beta.
I hope its more and i hope they lets us get to 30.

but i will be happy farming dungeons for no reason. just cause they are fun.

My son is 5 and does not talk. He speaks without using vowels.
they say there is nothing medically wrong with him.

it makes it easy though he is a normal 5 year old doing normal 5 year old things and all i have to do is turn on left 4 dead 2 and hes as happy as he can be.

Good luck with your son! My youngest didn't talk until 4ish years old. Before then he just talked jibberish like Blue from Blues Clues.

While I am happy they are doing an open beta, I am so ready for launch!! Bring on May 31st!! See you on Nexus!
