Anybody out there experts or have know how about crafting rune sets? I havent even bothered to insert any runes into my gear to this point as the gear is out of date by the next play session or weekened. I have reviewed a few very good guides on runecrafting but there are a few things that were unclear around rune sets. I have acquired an Assassin Rune fragment and according to the guide I read the assassin rune set requires 2x logic runes, 2x life runes and 2x fire runes and there is what i assume to be a 4 piece and an 8 piece set. However beyond that the guide was a little unclear.
I'm assuming if I have the assassin fragment in my inventory and I go to a rune crafting station and click create rune the crafting station will allow me to make 1 assassin rune if I have 2 logic, life and fire runes as materials. I would need to make four assassin runes for the 4 piece assassin set and 8 assassin runes for the 8 piece set. Is this correct? If so what type of rune slot on my gear will each assassin rune made slot into? The assassin fragment looks like an earth rune so would I need 8 earth rune slots across all my gear to get the 8 piece set? Also do I only need the 1 Assassin rune fragment or will I need to find 1 assassin fragment for every assassin rune I want to make?
Thanks for any info you can provide. If no one is in the know i'll re examine the threads around the guides I read and pose the question there and share the info back in this thread. Thanks for any insight you might have.

Runecrafting
Re: Runecrafting
Oh it's more complicated than that.
You need an Assassin rune per rune you craft. It doesn't necessarily have to be an earth slot, but each type has it's own requirements to craft a version of the rune. What isn't mentioned is that the rune has an additional stat applied to it such as crit or crit severity. These don't have to match for the set bonus and can give you more variety in statting when trying for a set bonus.

Goodness between AMP and Rune Fragments I foresee ALOT of grinding in my future if current beta broker costs are any indication.
