I don't think they will. Even if you count bugged encounters (which is pretty easily balanced by the horrendously op Stalkers at the time) it still took the better guilds a month to get through GA, and even then only 3/16 got there. Thats without the additional hurdles of attunement, having to actually collect amps, not having a bank stacked from farming at 32+exploits, and the huge bonus of actual balanced classes. The last balance patch changed quite a bit in terms of amps, and many more are still in need of adjusting and likely will be before launch.

I would say that if they have at least 1 good raid drop every 3-4 months, that should keep everyone happy. The hardcore and the casual.

Also at the same time, I hope they have a good amount of pvp type content such as different areas they can introduce as well. Huttball in SWToR was fun for a while but with it seeming to be the main pvp instance, it got old rather quick.
With changing bosses (both mechanic wise and differing encounter wise) I don't see that as needed. Especially once they get the leaderboards running so they have an actual weekly goal to strive for.

In vanilla wow there were guilds still happily working on bwl when naxx came out. Too much content is never a bad thing.

Yeah, I agree because not everyone plays at the same pace. It also allows more casual guilds time to learn from the hard core ones!
I'm personally excited to see a lot of that content too.

I don't feel there will be a great deal of learning going on with bosses changing on a weekly basis. Especially once the leader boards get implemented.

New content at around every 3 months (lets say a new tier every 3 months, or even a side step to more of the same tier) would be a very good thing. I don't care what anyone says, too much content is never a bad thing. When people are left with the same thing for too long they burn out and get bored. Variety is a fantastic thing in MMOs especially at endgame, so I'm thrilled to see Carbine is forward thinking on this.
