A bit of my background. I'm 35 years old, we've been married for almost 14 years. No kids, but a couple of little balls of fur follow us around the house. I'm a firefighter and paramedic in my work life, an Elder and a volunteer in the youth ministry area of my church.
Ambriana and I have been gaming together for nearly 16 years, starting with Ultima Online, and hitting up most of the major titles since. We hopped around a bit between games, but have spent most of our time in UO, WoW, LotRO and Rift. We've spent a fair amount of time in the raiding scene (We made a few trips into Blackwing Lair, completed Karazhan, etc). We're far less "hardcore" about raiding now as our careers and other hobbies have taken more of our time, but we still look forward to the challenges of end-game content. We almost always end up as officers in the guilds we play in, but we don't seek the position. Honestly, it's easier just logging in to play and not deal with organizing and leading sometimes.
I've played nearly every class/role in most games that I've played. I'm the old "jack of all trades but master of none," but I can be taught. I'm not one of those "cookie-cutter" guys - I tend to tweak builds and stats and gear to fit my play-style. Sometimes that works to my advantage, sometimes I have to learn what doesn't work the hard way. With that in mind, I haven't picked a class/role to play yet. I'll likely level 2 or 3 somethings at the same time

We haven't officially decided which faction to play. I think my wife is leaning very slightly towards Exile.... and I could care less. I'll play wherever there's pixels to be controlled, as long as she's by my side.
See ya wherever our ship lands!
