Re: The "Holy Cow I Don't Know What Faction Now" Thread
Streeg is just a dirty Exile, so what can one expect?!?
On a serious note, well said Kannon.
However, for those who can't read between the lines, it means go Dominion! (insert evil chua grin here)

Re: The "Holy Cow I Don't Know What Faction Now" Thread
Originally, prior to gaining access to the Beta Weekends, I was planning to play a Chua all the way... But once I was able to get into a Beta Weekend, it appeared that the beginning story lines for the Exlie were more polished then the Dominion, plus everyone from the Guild was playing Exile, so it felt like my original decision about faction was going to lean more towards Exile... But I was still really on the fence about it all...
When the spreadsheets were made, I felt like I had to make a hard decision long before the release, so initially I went with Exile just because it seemed that is the faction most of the guild was leaning towards... After a couple Beta Weekends, trying out different Classes and different Path's to see what did and didn't work for my play styles, again, I was on the fence about factions...
Now, I'm not the kind of player who plans on rushing to the end game in order to be with the cool raiding kids as fast as I possibly can... I'm planning on enjoying the storyline as I level my characters, and I'm extremely hopeful that I find some Guildies to level with on my adventures... Even though the Exiles seemed tempting because that is where most of the guild is playing in the Beta's, I made the hard decision again that I would go with my instincts of playing the Chua instead... Because they are able to be the 2 primary classes I plan to play out the live gate...
Therefore today, I decided to change to the Dominion side, to stick with my original plans of playing a Chua... One of the most corny and hilarious of the races imo...
For now, I don't plan on playing a whole lot during the Beta Weekends, because I don't want to run the risk of burning myself out on the game or knowing how all the quests work out, all pre-Live... I'ld much rather wait till what I does matters in game, hence the game is Live... I'll probably jump in every weekend just to earn those special boxes they are giving out, but that will most likely be the extent of my involvement in the game till it is live...
The only fear I have for this game, is that we have a really heavy strong presence in game the first few months, and then having it dwindle away quickly as folks feel burned out and move on to other newer games, leaving the activity levels low except on those few scheduled raid nights... Basically, our guild not being really active in-game with the exception of raiders logging in a few days a week, just for those raids... I've seen it in other games... So hopefully it doesn't happen too quickly in this one, with everyone rushing to the end game, and then only playing on special raiding occasions... It gets a bit lonely in game when that happens... But hopefully it never happens, or doesn't happen to the degree that I've seen in other chapters...

I am taking my plushies and going home...So many Dominion..I am scared...they took over my planet and all...

I hope not Zippity. There's so much to do that I'm worried about missing guild activities
I also recommend leveling a character on both factions. The Chua quest dialog is awesome and both factions have some great quests.

People should not feel pressured to choose a side when they see those spreadsheets. Members were asking for them and it just gives the officers a slight idea of who they will see. We know there will be tons of changed minds, lots of flip-floppin, we're human. The standard Grievance answer applies here - play what you want to play how you want to play it.
If you are undecided you can always make that decision on launch day, and change it the next day, and the next, and ....

You know, I don't know why I never realized something. I will be moving shortly after release, so I am sure to have plenty of "solo" time to level up 2 chars. Why not just start one and play it until max, then start another and play to max since I won't be able to raid right away due to my move back to the US
.
On a side note...I really expected more playful flaming in this thread

Re: The "Holy Cow I Don't Know What Faction Now" Thread
So we're facing a household dilemma. To avoid Beta burnout my husband and I have been playing Dominion (as opposed to our planned Exiles post release). Now my husband may be hooked on a Draken Stalker while I still want to play an Aurin. He couldn't get into a male aurin (too "pretty") and the Granok can't play stalker.
I mean, come on. The only time this guys was stealthy...

was when he was lying down.

What's a family to do when when the wife is pro-exile and the husband is pro-dominion? lol

When real life and virtual life collide -- The other day I saw a banana peel in the road and swerved to avoid it. Damn you Mario Kart!
Re: The "Holy Cow I Don't Know What Faction Now" Thread
be more awesome by saying rock people and furries are awesome? Though seriously... I will end up playing both and the dominion is a turn off for me cause of the 'im gonna kill everything' feel LOL. Rock dudes ftw that is all...
