Both raids have a 1-week lockout. None of the dungeons/adventures do

So we are allowed 10 wipes in a dungeon before it locks us out for an hour? If I am reading that correctly?

Sounds that way to me which i think is just silly, I mean don't get me wrong if you have died 10 times then maybe you should go back to the drawing board but I still think that decision should be left up to the player and not a lockout.

Also is lockout only for the current group you are with as a whole or is it a cooldown placed on each player individually?, meaning after 10 tires do you have to wait a hour just to try again with a totally different group?

edit: going directly to that forum to ask this question as i would really like to know the answer.

Pretty sure its "number of instances" you can enter per hour. Ie You fail and want another chance at gold, or get a boss spawn you don't like run out and /resetinstances. Its to stop that sort of abuse.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a lockout based on bosses or to prevent cheating. The have specifically said end game dungeons will have no lockouts that you can run them a million times. Plus there is no reason to leave the instance when you rez you rez inside so no weird lockout for dying. The DEV obviously edited his orginal answer to just say raids have the one week and dungeons/adventures have no lockout. The 10 an hour thing is pretty crazy can you imagine doing storm talons lair in 6 minutes. This will cut down on trying to solo the level 20 stormtalon at 50 though

Raids are once a week as of now so you can only do the 20 man once and the 40 man once per week. Which I also find lame.

A lot of people were chain running the first boss in Skullcano in beta. There is no trash so you could immediately redo the boss without the lockout.

Nice well I guess you could still do this, just not more than ten times :-)

I like locking in a good group and rocking out 3-4 different dungeons. Get's everyone some gear hopefully if you do that a few nights in a row and everyone gets gear and the runs get faster, and then you can start rotating people in for some quick gear. BAm then it's raid time!
