I believe they plan to give out about 10000 keys per day for the next few days... Just sign up for their site, deal with the lag during key give away times, select the button on the page listed to get a key, and then wait for an e-mail to see if you get one...

And it's just for Beta access for this weekend, Friday till Sunday night...

I was reading some other news sites and it seems for the Winter Beta they are not giving out anymore normal Closed Beta Keys, so the weekend stress tests are they only current public way to get in at the moment, so it seems...

I believe they are giving out close to 50,000 over the next few days. I may be wrong but I believe I saw that number somewhere. They are the only site giving away keys this week. The site is obviously flooded so expect frequent crashes. All I can say is be persistent and if you get a message that you are in the queue you are basically going to get a key per Alienware tweet.

Confirmed that winter beta keys are done. However, they strongly hinted that open beta is not far off.

Well, typical of many Testing Cycles... Usually when they get done doing a bunch of Stress Tests, most games are getting close to either Open beta's or Pre-Order Access... But since pre-orders are not even out yet, it may still be a while...

Me, I'm planning to get the game through best buy since I have a bunch of gift cards for them, so I check their website all the time for pre-order games...So far, nadda...

Well I got a key from that site but it always says failed and doesn't download, wonder if I have to wait a little longer to download?

Yep... I was about to post something about this as well. According to Alienware there were about 7500 keys left when I submitted a request for one.

Never know... Hell might have recently frozen over so the powers that be decided I "might" be able to get a Beta Key.... Personally... I doubt it, but I can hope. hah

Normally it takes an hour or so for NC soft to get the key coded to your account. After that you should be good to go.

Run the downloader as administrator if you are getting the failed from the launcher.

Also, after reading a bit more today, I agree that access may be more pre-order access to beta coming soon rather than true open beta based on where things are at.
