Hi all :)

My name is Adam, I'm 32 and have been gaming since I was old enough to hold a controller and playing MMOs for the past 15 years (although I'm brand new to Grievance). I have two daughters (8 and 12, and the 12 year old just got her own WoW account believe it or not lol) and a wife who I am amazed puts up with me. Luckily for me she is a MMO player as well but she is much more into PvP than anything else :)

In my spare time when I'm not gaming I'm an avid movie watcher, enjoy reading and writing, and recently decided I felt like learning how to cook because the people on those cooking shows always look like they are having so much fun lol. I also enjoy playing guitar and bass in my free time although to be honest I'm taking on a totally new project this year and trying to learn how to create DubStep because I want to see if I can somehow fuse Metal and Dubstep together to sound good (then YouTube can pay me when I get a million views!).

Lets see any other fun facts about me...oh! I have a ton of tattoos so if any of you ever want to know how much a specific area hurts just ask! Other than that I can't think of much else to say so I'll leave you all with some of my nerd stats. I don't think I can come up with every one of them I'd want to post so I'll just put up the first bunch that come to mind!

Cercei's Stats:

Favorite Classic Console Title: (tie) Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest / Mega Mas 2 (NES / NES)
Favorite Current Gen Console Title: Super Mario 3D World (Wii U)
Most anticipated upcoming console title: Titanfall (XBox One)
Favorite Arcade Game of all time: Mortal Kombat 2
Favorite Classic Console: Neo Geo AES Version
Favorite Current Gen Console: XBox One

Most wished for remake: Final Fantasy VI
Most wished for MMO: Give me a Zelda MMO, and I will sign over every penny I have from now until the end of time

Longest Gaming Session: 56 hour World of Warcraft binge
8-Bit Assassin is the coolest person you will ever meet on the internet so follow him on Twitter,Google+ and GTGN. Don't forget to sub to his YouTube Channel and Twitch Channel as well!

Greetings everyone,

Thanks again for the invite, just joined yesterday. Really have been looking forward to playing Wildstar. Just a short intro. I am 52 years old married with a son in college and a daughter in high school. My son is studying software engineering, everybody blames me for him not wanting to be a doctor or lawyer :) . Been computer gaming since 1982 with my first computer the Apple 2e. Played alot of stuff over the years but always like RPG's the best. Started MMO's about 10 years and and have played alot of those also. WOW and LoTRO probable the most along with Rift. I love Diablo 3 although it has gotten stale until the expansion comes out. But still love the gameplay.

I am a veterinarian by day, and sometimes by night unfortunately (although only in emergencies) and live in New Orleans were i was born and raised. Again looking forward to Wildstar and hope to see all of you soon in the beta.

Regards
Koen

Posted about myself in the Real Life Pics! thread, here's the link to my post:
viewtopic.php?p=115178#p115178

Includes pics of a polar bear surgery, puma anesthesia, me hiding on a whale research boat, and me drinking beer. That last one is just amazing in all kinds of non-amazing ways.

For those of you not wanting to click links to save your clicking finger some undue stress, I'm a wildlife biologist by training, master's degree in wildlife disease and epidemiology (field work in avian influenza and cervid chronic wasting disease), licensed veterinary and laboratory tech and researcher. Have been working in zoos for about 20 years as either a zookeeper, educator/trainer (with raptors, primates, and mammalian carnivores), a curator, or on the veterinary team (which is what I'm doing at the moment and what I've spent about 10 of my 20 zoo years doing).

Great to see we have other animal folks here as well, Koen! I don't run into very many in the video gaming world, oddly enough, and I've met a hell of a lot of people through that medium.

Greetings Remunos,
I think I will leave the lions, tigers and bears to you and I will deal with the little ones. Sometimes I can't tell the difference from the big ems and the little one cause they all want to kill me. At least that is how I feel sometimes. But hello and look forward to "Wildstaring" with you.

Hello all, my name is Charlie in real life, I usually go by Vital in the matrix. Lol, I'm 27 and engaged with 3 kids I just left my job of 7 years and enrolled in an emt class and I start fire Academy in June at Fresno City College. I'm currently living in Madera CA, but I bounce back and forth between Madera, Fresno, and Tulare pretty regularly.

I have been gaming ever since my dad introduced me when I was just a wee boy. Lol, I fell in love with it and it has been my favorite past time ever since (besides rooting for my Niners and Giants, don't bring it up right now I'm still in the healing process lol).

I'm looking forward to the onslaught of new pc games coming out this year, mmo and otherwise, Wildstar looks amazing, EQN also looks good. I was lucky enough to be a beta tester in all the beta weekends for ESO, which really turned out to surprise me with its quality. I'm also a big BF4 guy and I'm looking forward to some of the new shooters coming out this year as well. It's gonna be a great year for the pc gamer! Looking forward to having lots of fun with all of here. Grievance has really grown and been an amazing organization.

Hello everyone. My name is Zack, but usually go by Squid or some form usually accompanied by a few choice numbers. I'm 27 y/o, originally from Florida, I lived all around growing up mostly in the Pacific Northwest. Currently living in Groton, Connecticut only because my job took me here. I'll be leaving most likely in about a year and a half. Married for almost 5 years, with just over 8 years of military service.

I found Grievance on a topic post looking over a beta contest on nexusreport.net. My MMO history started around 2005 when I picked up a copy of Guild Wars. I played that until a friend introduced me to World of Warcraft in the spring of 2007. When SW:TOR came out in the end of 2012 I took a break from WoW and dedicated my time to that. Losing interest in it (due to certain aspects of the game) I changed things up and started Guild Wars 2 immediately upon release. Again after 6 months or so I lost interest in that as well (mostly due to lack of end game, among other things) and reverted back to WoW. Ties were cut this past late summer (2013). I have done everything from being the casual guy, council member, guild officer, and co-guild leader.

Not long before I was driven away from WoW a fellow guild member mentioned the game Wildstar and how cool it looked. So this peaked my interest and have been attracted to this game ever since I first looked into it. I've been anxiously awaiting to get my chance to play this game and meet other dedicated individuals to play with. Thank you for taking the time to read me yammer about myself. Happy Hunting...

Hey Folks!
I'm Vankina, or Van for short. I'm 26 years old, and currently live in Richmond, Va. Married for 2.5 years now, and have an 8 month old daughter. Currently work in craft beer distribution :) I've always enjoyed video games since I was a wee lad. Was an avid console gamer until 2009 when I decided to give WoW a go. Addiction ensued. I have also played Rift and SWTOR when they released but quickly got bored with them and went back to WoW. I'm looking for a new MMO to break my dependence from WoW(as its not as fun as it use to be), and I'm hoping to find that playing Wildstar with all you wonderful folks here at Grievance! Looking forward to much fun!
