Any word on collectors edition

Post by todmcfly » Wed Dec 04, 2013 3:29 pm

Now I'm sure I'm getting way ahead of myself but I was wondering if any of you out there have heard if the are releasing a collectors edition? If so anyone besides myself interested in getting it? I remember picking up the WOW collectors edition back in the day, good times

I know that Carbine has stated in previous interviews that they do not like the idea of collector's editions. But it really depends on NCSoft. If they demand a collector's edition I am sure that Carbine will put something together. I just hope it is worth it.

But here's a more interesting question ... with the experiences that we have had with "lifetime" subscriptions, would you be willing to fork over the cash? I ask this because we have seen so many mmo's lately that have offered this and they have basically failed with this strategy.

I understand why carbine might not like the idea of a collectors edition but on the other hand there are plenty of people that have the money and would love to purchase something a little extra.

Life time subscriptions sorta scare me haha, I've never played
A game for that long. I played wow for a couple of years. I will be paying the month to month though so I don't have to worry about getting "credd" and all that

I bet on Puddlez to be the first to mention this either here, FB or twitter. He'll also be first to have either or both. ;)

I'm not a fan of lifetime subs however I am a fan of founder's editions tho.

Any thoughts from the faithful about a founder's edition? For example you maybe get a lower price as long as you maintain your initial sub.

They don't like that. I'll get the quote when I get home...

I'd be down for a collector's edition if the skipped lame making of dvd's and put something everyone needs in their home like a plush rowesdower.
