I went to Blizzcon. Met 15 of my old guild members from WoW for the first time after being together for at least four years (the guild is still running but most of us had retired to marriage, work, and school in the past two years). Speaking of which, the Real Life Grievance meetup next year is in my hometown!!!! We best be making good friends!
Said a prayer for WildStar's success during the closing ceremony. I don't miss WoW as a game but I missed the old community. I still don't like LFR being implemented in WildStar. Someone please tell me they changed their minds about it while I was gone...
Anyways, when do you guys usually hop on TS to chat?

Re: Wildstar and WoW
I feel your pain about LFR. I currently play WoW Horde side with Grievance and I find LFR to be quite painful, but a necessary evil to get your toon ready for raiding. Good thing Blizz has done was made LFR Flex for the next expansion, so casual smaller rading guilds like ours will be able to gear up via Flex lfr, and we will not have to PUG again! Hopefully Wildstar will follow suit with that, so the players do not feel the need to HAVE to run lfr. Thing that happens in WoW is, as patches come out, and content gets outdated, it isn't worth running the entry level raids as a guild to gear up, your gear wouldn't even be good enough for current content, so we end up in LFR.....I can't see Wildstar doing the same thing, since so many have complained about this system in Wow, thus the reason WoW is changing it for the next Xpac!Cheecha wrote:I went to Blizzcon. That's awesome Cheecha!
I went to Blizzcon several years ago 2010, I hope that Wildstar gets big enough to have a Con, their studio is less than an hour from me and would be a great site for a West Coast Grievance RL Raid ... hint hint Steel!
I also had a friend go this year, he's formerly a member of AIE still talks with em, now a member of Convert to Raid (CTR) both of them had major presences at Blizzcon, AIE actually did a kickstarter to rent out a banquet hall for a meet up.
According to my friend, in the future he will go to the meetup and just get the virtual ticket for the Con. All side notes obviously but AIE is about 8k total members over 5k of that are WoW members and CTR is about 4k and according to my friend only officially in WoW at this point.
