Post by Acha » Sun Nov 17, 2013 7:31 am

MMObuff sits down with Brett Scheinert, the lead instance guy for Wildstar.

Video Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zI5g5dSHsVs

Stuff Confirmed:

Crafting was briefly touched on.
Raid Attunements.
No "badges", but there is the Elder Gems system. These will be used to unlock a lot of stuff including pre-raid gear.
Two raids at launch: a 20 man and a 40 man one.
4 actual dungeons at launch, each with a lvl 50 veteran mode.
Dungeons will have mini-bosses that have loot. There will be a pool of mini-bosses that a subset of those will randomly appear each time you run the encounter.
Dungeons will have a random set of objectives. Completion of these objectives will give you bronze, silver, and gold medals accordingly.
Dungeons will last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and 45 minutes.
No lockouts on dungeons.
Achievements confirmed.
And more!

I think Dungeons are like swtors flash points. They look a little more fun and a little more boss oriented though, just not long hallways of trash for the sake of side quests.

I can't wait.
