Esper's healing looks really fun but I really dislike the race choice. Still waiting on the medic reveal to make my final decision but it medic is not for me I'll definitely go Esper.

Yeah this class looks really good for people who want to play a well rounded support character. I don't think it's AoE skills are for damage, maybe they are more for crowd control and group sustainability.

Basically Espers are there if you can't find a healer / dps?
..or do we think they have the potential to out damage stalkers and warriors?

we'll find out at release, but it think it'd be a fairly poor design decision to have class' dps spec be sub-optimal.

Somewhere says it can be a top dps if built that way but i aee it kinda like chloro or archon in rift dpa support and heals combined

I seem to remember during the Warrior Livestream them saying in order to offset survivability of lighter armor classes the design would be slightly higher damage.

Personally I think the squishy classes will need a slightly higher skill level, and higher dps, especially after watching streams where kill times seem usually long already. I don't think you are going to kill that squirg before it gets to you, it seems to be movement heavy not just in terms of dodging but re acquiring a safe distance if you are squish ...
