I've not done this yet, but certainly will before beta launch.
Here is a guide on saving your character template both in and out of game.

Seems there's rumors of both versions not being compatible with each other. I guess this remains to be seen.
Another reason why I will just wait it out until October.

@creed that would suck, but nothing really to loose in saving the file or even screenshots of the slider positions if you've invested time in your character customization. [emoji2]
