Paths

I want to try Wildstar, but I can't decide on which path to pick. Was thinking either Scientist or Settler. Any suggestions fro people with experience with them?
A Scientist likes to find hidden stuff and likes a lot of lore.
A Settler likes to build stuff via gathering for their fellow man.
