How to setup mouselook and rebind everything!

Annoyed by having to hold the right mouse button ? Annoyed you can't bind left mouse button to your basic attack ? I got you covered.

First you will need 2 addons:

Deadlock Extended: http://www.curse.com...adlock-extended
Keybind Freedom: http://www.curse.com...-keybindfreedom

Download these to your hdd. Now (for Windows 7) open Search and type %appdata%. This will direct you to a folder named Roaming. Go to Roaming\NCSoft\Wildstar. Here make a folder named Addons. Unless there already is one. Now unzip the 2 addons and place their folders in Addons.

Launch the game.

Once in game, press Escape and select Addons section (top left). Arrange addons by name so you can find them faster and look for these addons. They will likely be turned off. To turn them on click on them and select Load Addon and Ignore version mismatch and force load addon (this happens because the addon is out of date with the current game version). You can also click on Advanced Options below and check all boxes on the left.

Now close the addons section.

Write /deadlock

In the window that comes up deselect Toggle by click and select Toggle by key. To the right of Toggle by key there is a keyboard icon - here you will select a key, use something remote that you never press as you will not be locking the free camera again.

You can also select how the crosshair will look like, from the side right panel.

Pressing that key will lock or unlock the free camera to your character's frontal view.

Now you can keybind the LMB to the actionbar too and keep the RMB for interaction if you want, as you can control the camera without pressing any keys and your character will always face forward.

*Note that pressing Escape will cancel the free camera look and you will need to press that key you setup earlier with Deadlock again.

Deadlock is working with the new UI? I was having issues last weekend with it. I will have to re-download it.

not sure. essentially, deadlock just puts you into mouselook mode permanently. If you click on an objective or enter into a dialog it disengages it with smart return enabled.

The key rebinder enables you to use your left click, right click, and various other keys that are "locked" out by default as bindable keys.

*note - if you bind your left click to an LAS slot, you will shoot everytime you try to left click target something. I am trying to figure out how to rebind that but haven't found it yet.
