I've changes from medic to esper. Everyone in game is a damn medic. Its because medic is pretty polished right now.

I think it's more so the name "Medic" that lends itself to sounding more like a healer, and in a lot of Dev group videos they always tend to go with a Medic as their healer... And nowadays peeps are under the impression in many MMORPG's that playing a Healer type toon will get them faster and more consistent invites into Dungeons and Raids... Hence many folks wanting to give it a go initially...

Personally, I don't think many folks out there understand how difficult and stressful it can be to play a healer in a group, regardless of MMO... Even more so in Action based MMO...

Given time thought, I'm sure folks will settle into other classes more, once the smoke has cleared...

Planning on running a Mordesh Medic (subject to change on the class, will wait for open beta to find out for sure )

Definitely playing Wildstar. Still undecided on role - enjoying DPS and healing in the game!
