My only concern is they had said warrior tanks are most like traditional tanks and that healers will be snobs and won't group with non-war tanks if the other 2 require too much skill to be good at. I've always liked the non-traditional class setups

Valid point, but I guess it'll all comes down to how the classes are balanced.
Taking Rift as example, Rogue tanks were infinitely harder to play than warrior tanks but as a healer, I was always judging people on skills rather than classes. And since, usually, tanks are harder to find, I really doubt people will snob them.
Based on my experience, evasion tanks tends to be harder to play but easier to heal generally, they are very vulnerable to spike damage compared to mitigation tanks tough.
Also, just being in Grievance guarantee that you will be able to play whatever you enjoy the most and still do group content !

I play a healer and I'll heal for any tank, traditional or not. I'm always game to try anything, but at the same time I'm not one to bang my head against a wall so if it doesnt work then I wont hesitate to point it out. I am a snob when it comes to pugs though
