I dont know why it works but it does. It shows my name and my guild.

I reserved Delta and the link shows the following for me:
{"character":"Delta","guild":false,"tte":{"character":null,"guild":null}}

Is this what it should be showing? Assuming tte is time to expire. I didn't put a guild in -- kind of wish I put Grievance there now since I got in about 1 minute after it started.

The null on the right side means it didn't get reserved.

Was finally able to save a name right before going to sleep last night. Of course Priest was already taken. That said, I must have beat a good number of Dragonlance fans as I was able to get Huma. Not sure if I'll use it at launch but it is what it is.

I'm kinda happy I picked such an obscure, ridiculous name now.

It's kind of funny. I've never really given much of a damn about whether or not I actually got the specific name I wanted. I've played many games where the first pick name I usually try for is taken. No biggie, go to #2, if that's taken #3 etc. I really think that they could have chosen a better pre-order perk than a name reservation. A friend of mine (who makes a living doing web related stuff) and I had a little wager as to how this would play out. Unfortunately I lost. I'm still confident that head start will be relatively problem free

Oh well. I'll have to get more creative when the system comes back up. I was one of those who had the countdown and no perceivable issue though during the process.

Still have NO idea whether or not my name is reserved or not... this is just... silly.

I went into it again, it had a Save option. I chose it and am getting the countdown again -- the check shows:
{"character":"Delta","guild":false,"tte":{"character":1400081024,"guild":null}}
The number doesn't appear to change on subsequent checks.

So does the above mean I have that char name or not?
