Ugg, mine got misfiled too. Just check the forums today so hope I didn't fill it out too late

Filled out the survey though I took surveymonkey as a joke thinking that Wildstar did this to give us something to do rather than just say we are sending out random keys lol.. However I filled it out and some of the questions are just a little odd like my household income... but w/e lets hope for the best!

Those odd questions are for demographic purposes ... i did an employer survey this summer that asked similar seemingly unrelated questions.

That said back when closed beta's were actually beta's, and being a beta tester was a mark of pride as a gamer, and an open beta was the exception to the rule ... questions such as household size & income, student vs professional, and gender + ethnicity were common. And really are very important to making sure your game starts out well, they give you a means to see a lopsided trend with potential time to address it before or shortly after launch.

While I was a little disappointed today when i learned that Carbine will indeed be doing a free trial period (aka Open Beta) it does at least serve the purpose of a simulated launch day, a soft launch but a massive server demand all the same.

Apologies for flying out into left field, but Carbine has been running one of the best beta's I have attempted to watch in several years.
