Duv, we really wouldn't know. NDA prohibits anyone from letting others know they are in beta.
Not sure that is true. Their are many forums out there that have people talking about previous Stress Tests and it seems OK by the forums. These forums do state that any NDA-breaking talk will be deleted. But threads with people talking about how they are in Beta are not deleted.

Without trying to rustle any feathers I have read the NDA (yeah I'm that guy) and I saw no mention of not telling if you are testing or not. In fact it is amazingly vague as to what you can and cannot say, though I cannot copy and paste said NDA text.

BTW I can say in all honesty that I am not in the Closed Beta program. Just to be clear.

But @team_wilstar has stated on Twitter a few times not to talk about it - not worth the risk! I'm sure that if any Grievance members get in, you'll likely run into each other in game or in a forum if they have a beta forum setup for testers. We want to make sure we respect Carbine for this - they've been a really great group of people and super active on Twitter - even getting into back and forth tweets with Grievance members :)

NDA's are always vague, not that the companies need a reason to kick people out, but it gives them an easy out. Better just not to talk about any of it especially with an organization that is publically visible and vunerable.

What he said. Play it safe when it comes to material that may or may not be under NDA... unless you're completely sure that it's ok, don't post it. Otherwise, we'll have to edit or delete posts! :P

How did you read the NDA?

Thought that was only available to those in beta. You're not thinking of the User Agreement & Rules of Conduct off the main website are you because that's not the same as a beta NDA.

Or were you just looking somewhere you shouldn't be ? :D

edit: completely rhetorical, please don't answer... ;)

And that is precisely the sort of question that can't be answered here!

Actually it can..

The MOMENT you get that Beta invite you are AUTOMATICALLY under a NDA for that invite which is usually what you Agreed to by signing up for its beta usually under the parts where the terms of this agreement can be changed AT ANY TIME without the users consent which if caught the worse case scenario for that is being booted from Beta until the games release.

From there people have to sign another NDA stating NCSoft has to the right to sue you for all your money if you were a part of something that violated that NDA. which is standard for all NDA agreements.

All this is public information.
