Like I mentioned in my previous post I never said world first recognition. I've been in Grievance long enough to know what the organization is about. Because we mostly play for fun and value our families and friendships over our video game time doesn't mean we all don't want to reach for higher goals in the games we play.Kannon wrote:In my humble opinion, Grievance is not about world first achievements and being number one in a game. We are family that joins together in these games to have fun. The stress of being elitist should not be what we are looking for. And I know from experience that the people we bring in to be at that top spot in a game are not people that fit with our ethos.
40 man raids are all fun and good but the sheer effort to pull it off is crazy. I think smaller group and multiple raids are a better plan of action.

I'm not sure how we went from this post to hardcore value changing raiding.Xryus wrote:I feel the same way I've done limited 40 man raids back in the vanilla WoW days, but I still remember what it took to get one started. I would much prefer the 20 man raid size, but I don't think it will give the same level of rewards as the 40 mans will.
I've never been a big gear person, but I do love the feeling of doing the hardest content. Even 5 people all focused on doing something really hard and getting it done is a great feeling.
My hope would be to raid twice a week. The progress will be slower, but hopefully still yield results. Like you I'd also like to PvP and Warplots is going to be top content on that side.
Hopefully the beta will show that 40 mans for raids is just too much work, but if not maybe the 20 man content will be hard enough to feel worth while.
Darn silly wabbits!NightAngel wrote:Ahh the nature of forum rabbits/squirrels.
I know they said they would be challenging. I want to know more about the elder game content as a whole besides the warplots, arenas, and raiding. Will there be dailies? Or things for smaller groups?

From what I've gathered so far there will be content for smaller groups. I've read/heard that there will be 5 man normal and heroic dungeons. I think there was mention of 10 man dungeons as well. Dally quests I've only heard mentioned when they were talking about housing, but that might just be where they start from. My hope is that there is stuff for smaller groups to do hopefully with enough challenge for it to feel rewarding.NightAngel wrote:Ahh the nature of forum rabbits/squirrels.
