Push to Talk Feedback

I hate it.
To elaborate, we now have mandatory push to talk in the raid channels. While I'm sure I am in the minority on this as most people already use push to talk, it really cramps my style having to use it. Mostly it just ends up with me not talking or calling things out. I don't know how many other people it affects and I will obviously deal with it if it is here to stay.
I understand the arguments for having mandatory push to talk; people making gross noises, having inappropriate conversations, mouth breathing into the mic etc. I get it, but it takes feedback from your fellow players just as a quiet ,loud, staticky or otherwise noisy mic takes your guildies to help you sort it out so you don't annoy them. And if you're not compliant or don't care, well then you're a jerk and you get muted or kicked off discord if you refuse to turn on push to talk. Easy Peasy.
We also never had it in Teamspeak so I'm not sure why it's become a thing all of a sudden.
TLDR: Push to talk is uncivilized and archaic.
