Agreed, the mechanics seem really neat especially in phase 4. For a last boss, I think it will be very fun to progress on.

Cheat Death
Last Resort
Divine Intervention
I would hope not for the intermission everyone dies transition.

I doubt they would work since they usually only save you up to 200% of your max hp in damage. But since people are going to be constantly dying in the last phase ret pallys are gonna have near permanent uptime on their damage buff
