Looks like I won't be raiding with you guys for awhile (unless Blizzard can help me out). I went to log in this morning and found that my pally was stripped naked and all of my other characters had been deleted. All gold gone, the works... (and now I can't even log on, although I did at least get it frozen).

Needless to say, I'm not in the best of moods. However, it's at least partially my fault. I got a new phone about a week ago. As such, I removed the authenticator from my account in order to put it on the new phone (which by the way, I found out you don't have to do - you can relink them without removing it, but I didn't do my homework and didn't learn that until this morning). Well I couldn't get it to work that night, so I put it off. Now it seems I'm paying the proverbial price.

What makes this even worse, we were talking about this topic in TS just yesterday...whether you would stay if you lost your account or just walk away. Life's irony I guess. I will probably roll a new account while I work with Blizzard to try and restore my pally account, but I'm a little despondent at the moment. Anyway, wanted to let leadership know.

So sorry to hear this happened to you. Hopefully Bliz will help you out to get your stuff back at least. And it's good to know that you have people like Grievance to stand by you and will help you out :)

Well looks like you never took anything out of the guild bank.... and the only toon in the guild is the Pally and you are demoted to Recruit for the time being.

Just hit us up when its all worked out.

Blizzard has been pretty good in the past about fixing things like that so hopefully you'll be back in service by the next raid.

This happened to me during last expansion and they fixed it relatively quick (over the phone they fixed it on the spot so I recommend going that route, and getting the spanish queue if possible as it's insanely shorter). Wish you the best of luck good sir :)

If I actually lost my warrior/shaman whom are near and dear to me I'd likely quit for a bit and come back eventually. Nowadays, definitely my monk or pally as well as I've put a considerable amount of time into them. Hopefully Blizzard works it out with you and you're back on your feet but if you don't come back for a bit I'd understand.
