Can I switch between holy/disc in raids?

Post by Torvi » Thu Mar 30, 2017 8:30 am

I have been working on my holy spec- mainly for m+ since it is a bit easier to heal with, but there are some fights in the raids that may be better suited for holy, and some I certainly prefer disc. I know we have to chose a main spec for the raids but I wanted to find out since they are both healing specs if it would be ok for me to go between the 2. I am fine sticking with Disc and enjoy it and will certainly not swap between the 2 if it will be bad for the raid, I just wanted to to see would be ok for me to swap to holy from time to time as well though even though I am listed as disc main.

Just to add- I will still be in Disc most of the time and focusing on that weapon but wasn't sure if switching to holy from time to time would mess up the raid roster.

Thanks,
Torvi

If you want to switch back and forth between the 2 healing specs go right ahead.

Thanks for asking the question

There's no restriction on spec so long as it's the same role. It's really no different then Ded swapping from Arcane to Frost depending on the fight.

Thanks. I was not worried about it when I was the only priest healer but I saw some holy priest joining the team and did not want to mess that up.
