Pretty cool. As an electrical contractor, it's always cool to see different states standards of installation. What state do you live in if you don't mind my asking.

For instance, I'm in CT, and the idea of putting the breaker panel outside is just downright crazy.

I'm no electrician but a fuse panel outside? That just seems crazy to me.

I hope it's at least locked up or that could be some really nice trolling by someone while doing doing some stressful raiding. :P

In California and they are required to have access for fire & emergency issues. Nema-3 (?) Type outdoor panels. Breaker panel.
FYI-Located in backyard.

NEMA 3R would be the standard, and yeah, CA code and contracting laws are typically two or three steps ahead of the curve of everyone else.
