Blade and Soul Charter

Post by fazed » Wed May 24, 2017 4:44 pm

Grievance Blade & Soul Charter

This Charter in no way supersedes the Grievance Organization charter. All members should make themselves familiar with that charter prior to joining Grievance!

*Disclaimer*
This Charter can and WILL change as the guild grows and matures. The application & promotion process WILL become more complicated and harder as the guild grows. The Guild Leader reserves the right to make changes and rulings to this policy at any time, including on the spot if needed in order to correct loopholes and keep things fair.

Clauses to be aware of

Guild Leader Clause
The Guild Leader reserves the right to make decisions that may at times supersede and/or contradict the charter and policies of the Guild. These decisions must never be made lightly and always be done with the betterment of the guild as a whole in mind. The Guild Leader also has last word on all decisions concerning the Guild, Guild forum section, charter, and/or anything pertaining to the Grievance Blade & Soul Guild. All decisions made by the Guild Leader can and will be reviewed by the Grievance Council to ensure fairness to all members.

Common Sense Clause
No policy is 100% safe from exploitation and the officers are here to make sure all things are done fairly. All changes made to the charter in this matter will be reviewed by the Guild Leader before being set in stone.

No Drama Clause
Any member found to be causing and/or instigating extreme drama within the guild will be asked to leave. The Guild Leader will make the determination of what qualifies as extreme drama, and what does not.

The Guild
The advancement of the Guild is all-important. Guild progress equals personal progress. If you are not a team player then stop now and look somewhere else. We donÔÇÖt want you!

The GuildÔÇÖs responsibility to you the player
The Guild is responsible for your main character and only your main character. As a Guild we will help gear you up with great items and help you complete the necessary quests needed to progress your character throughout the known world and beyond.
You (the player) are responsible for your own actions and all other characters that you may play from time to time. At no time will the Guild intentionally hold events with the sole intention of specifically progressing anyoneÔÇÖs alternate (alt) character.

Applying to Grievance

Those who are interested in joining Grievance should register on the forums at http://www.grievancegaming.com/forums. This is a requirement for ALL potential Grievance members, no matter which guild or clan they wish to join. After your forum account has been activated, make a post introducing yourself within the ÔÇ£Apply Here to Join Grievance in Blade & SoulÔÇØ forum. Please include the name of your main character in your post, as well as sharing a little bit about yourself (as a person, not just as a player). A guild officer will reply to your post with instructions on how to get an invite to the guild.

Requirements to join Grievance

- Applicants MUST register on the Grievance forums prior to receiving an invite.

- Applicants MUST be 18 years of age or older. Exceptions may be made for real life friends or family.

- Applicants MUST have Teamspeak downloaded and be able to fully communicate with other players! Teamspeak server information can be found in the "Important Grievance Information" forum.

- Applicants MUST read and agree to the Grievance Organizational Charter AND this charter prior to joining.

All applicants will go through a two week recruitment period, at minimum, during which time they may join us on Teamspeak and get to know the other members of Grievance. Communication is extremely important in todayÔÇÖs gaming world and we have dedicated Teamspeak channels for you to use. This is to give us, as well as you (the applicant), an opportunity to see if your membership in the guild is a good fit or not. Applicants found not to be a good fit will be notified and then denied membership. All applicants must also attend a recruit meeting to obtain full membership.

Leaving the Guild

Grievance does not believe in a revolving-door policy and expects its members to think before they act when it comes to leaving the guild. In general, members who leave on good terms, are removed solely due to inactivity, or leave to help another Grievance affiliate will be permitted back into the guild. Members who leave on bad terms or are kicked from the guild with cause will have to plead their case for re-admittance before the guild officers, after which the Guild Leader will render a decision. Any such cases resulting in re-admittance will require the member to start over as a recruit.

The Guild Leader is the final arbiter of admittance or re-admittance into the guild. The Council reserves the right to review decisions for the betterment of Grievance, though at no time will the Council force the Guild Leader to allow someone into the guild. Additionally, the Guild Leader, Executive Officer, and First Officer reserve the right to remove anyone who at any time exhibits behavior deemed unbecoming of a Grievance member.

Guild Ranking System

Guild Leader (GL)
The Guild Leader is responsible for the overall smooth running of the Guild, the Guild forum, and anything else pertaining to Grievance Blade & Soul. It is the Guild Leader's responsibility to set in-game and out of game (if necessary) goals for the Guild to provide the proper direction and course for Grievance. The Guild Leader has the final say so on all things pertaining to the workings of the Guild and its membership. At any time the Guild Leader may assume the responsibilities of any other Officer position within the Guild if necessary and can override any decision made by another officer if said decision is deemed to be detrimental to the Guild. As an extension of the overall Grievance Organization (Grievance Global Gaming), the Guild Leader is expected to operate and make all decisions with the betterment of Grievance as a whole in mind.

Executive Officer (XO)
The XO is literally a direct extension of the GL and only answers to the GL. The XO is in complete charge of the guild whenever the GL is not present and has the GL's authority to make on-the-spot decisions for the betterment of the Guild if needed. As with the GL, the XO can assume other officer positions if needed. The XO can override another Officer's decision (with the exception of the GL) if deemed necessary.

Recruiting Officer (RO)
The RO is ultimately responsible for the growth of Grievance and all matters pertaining to recruitment within Grievance. It is the ROÔÇÖs responsibility to indoctrinate new recruits into the Guild by going over what is expected of them.

Task Leaders (TL)
Task Leaders are directly responsible for certain tasks within the guild itself. These tasks can range from managing the Guild Bank, organizing crafters, assisting with recruiting, or just being responsible for get groups going on a daily basis. Task Leaders are appointed by the Guild Leader and considered Junior Officers within the guild.

Members
These members are members that have completed the recruitment period, and met any other Blade & Soul specific qualifications set by the Guild Leader.

Recruits
Upon being accepted into Grievance, a new member is considered a recruit and has three weeks to meet certain Guild qualifications.

Loot Rules
Grievance is only responsible for your main character. If you join a group of mains on your alt, the people who are playing their main have loot priority over your alt, so tell people you are on an alt and let them know what you are looking for and we will help as much as possible.

Upgrade material loot will be shared evenly on mains. If a item of high value drops (Ember, Offal, etc.) the group being run at the time can deiced to sell the item and split evenly between party members or may decide to give to who ever needs it for a main only. This will be run a case by case basis.

Cosmetic drops in all dungeons are FREE BID anyone that wants the costume for themselves are allowed to bid on it.

Guild Crafting
From time to time we will sponsor guild crafting items (HM pellets, outfits, etc.). High valuable items are needed for this any and all are allowed to contribute. If you need one of these crafting items please speak with the guild leader or any officer and we will work on getting it started.
