Hey all,

Just received an email this morning about a new game by Trion that will be going into alpha soon called Devilian. Just wondering if that's something anyone was following and knows more than I probably do or if anyone plans on trying it out? Sorry if this is in the wrong section!

Haven't read it yet, but i got one as well. If i remember correctly, this will be Trion's MOBA.

I got the impression it was a more diabloesque game than Moba, but I have no interest in it at all so have not looked. I remember reading an article a while back that said it was just another port and nothing really unique though.

Here is an excellent write up on it. Personally for me, I think it's going to be great.

It's really something that an AMMORPG/Dungeon Crawler hasn't done. You basically get a game like Diablo, Path of Exile, yet rather than have it as a linear storymode, you put it into an MMORPG world. Quests, dungeons, raids, MOUNTS, world events, PvP (And world PvP)

It's been getting really good feedback and it's going to be F2P and to be released later this year.

I for one am very excited about it.

Im not a huge fan of asian type MMO's so Im a little leery of Devilian.

Hopefully its decent and I will give it a try since I also play Rift, but I did find myself a little surprised when Trion announced this was the game they were releasing. From what Ive read the game has not been a big hit back home where it was released.

Im even more surprised and unsure what to think about the other new game Trion is working on, Atlas Reactor.

I've been following the progression of this via the write-ups on mmorpg.com and received a beta invite from Trion. Course actually getting into the beta version and having time for it is another story

The game does look interesting and I plan on giving it a try as well.

I'll be playing it (already have a founders pack)! It's an MMO/D3 style game made by the creators of TERA (Bluehole Studios) so you'll notice that the character models and animations are sometimes identical to those in TERA.
