Grievance Skyforge Charter

Pantheon (Guild) Mission Statement

Grievance is a family-oriented online gaming community. We have a very rich and honorable heritage that spans many games over many years, during which Grievance has proven that one can have a very rewarding gaming experience, yet have a life as well. The concepts of family, honor, and loyalty are hallmarks of Grievance and are expected to be upheld and respected by all members. As a pantheon, we will bring GrievanceÔÇÖs values and proudly represent our parent pantheon and what it stands for. We will be that pantheon that is known for its great community of helpful, friendly individuals that provides support for each other through all aspects of the game. WE are Grievance.

This Charter in no way supersedes the Grievance Organization charter. All members should make themselves familiar with that charter prior to joining Grievance!

*Disclaimer*
This Charter can and WILL change as the pantheon grows and matures. The application & promotion process WILL become more complicated and harder as the pantheon grows. The Pantheon Leader reserves the right to make changes and rulings to this policy at any time, including on the spot if needed in order to correct loopholes and keep things fair.

Clauses to be aware of

Pantheon (Guild) Leader Clause
The Pantheon Leader reserves the right to make decisions that may at times supersede and/or contradict the charter and policies of the Pantheon. These decisions must never be made lightly and always be done with the betterment of the pantheon as a whole in mind. The Pantheon Leader also has last word on all decisions concerning the Pantheon, Pantheon forum section, charter, and/or anything pertaining to the Grievance Skyforge Pantheon. All decisions made by the Pantheon Leader can and will be reviewed by the Grievance Council to ensure fairness to all members.

Common Sense Clause
No policy is 100% safe from exploitation and the officers are here to make sure all things are done fairly. All changes made to the charter in this matter will be reviewed by the Pantheon Leader before being set in stone.

No Drama Clause

Any member found to be causing and/or instigating extreme drama within the pantheon will be asked to leave. The Pantheon Leader will make the determination of what qualifies as extreme drama, and what does not.

The Honor Clause
Honor is the second most important tenant in the Grievance Organization. All members of Grievance are expected to act with honor at all times; this includes all members of GrievanceÔÇÖs Skyforge Pantheon. At no time will any Grievance member intentionally grief another player either in or out of game. If anyone is unclear on what the definition of griefing is, then simply ask your fellow Grievance members for clarification. Examples of griefing include, but are not limited to: corpse camping, causing other players to unintentionally become killable, training mobs into other players, and anything else that normal players would find distasteful. If any of these things give you pleasure, then you are in the wrong Pantheon. Leave!

The Pantheon
The advancement of the Pantheon is all-important. Pantheon progress equals personal progress. If you are not a team player then stop now and look somewhere else. We expect members to contribute toward the overall progression of this Pantheon. If you are not contributing, then do not expect the Pantheon to contribute back to you. If you donÔÇÖt feel that you can meet the above expectations, then do yourself a HUGE favor and find another Pantheon.

The PantheonÔÇÖs responsibility to you the player
As a Pantheon we will help you out along the way, either through Questing, PvP, as well as Raiding. We will not drop everything to do so but work together as a TEAM to acquire a common goal. Please don't take constructive criticism to heart we only want what's best.

PlayerÔÇÖs responsibility to the Pantheon
You, the player, are responsible for your own actions and all other characters that you may play from time to time. At no time will the Pantheon intentionally hold events/raids with the sole intention of specifically progressing anyoneÔÇÖs alternate (alt) character.

Pantheon (Guild) Ranking System

Pantheon (Guild) Leader (PL)
The Pantheon Leader is responsible for the overall smooth running of the Pantheon, the Pantheon forum, and anything else pertaining to Grievance in Skyforge. It is the Pantheon Leader's responsibility to set in-game and out of game (if necessary) goals for the Pantheon to provide the proper direction and course for Grievance. The Pantheon Leader has the final say so on all things pertaining to the workings of the Pantheon and its membership. At any time the Pantheon Leader may assume the responsibilities of any other Officer position within the Pantheon if necessary and can override any decision made by another officer if said decision is deemed to be detrimental to the Pantheon. As an extension of the overall Grievance Organization (Grievance Global Gaming), the Pantheon Leader is expected to operate and make all decisions with the betterment of Grievance as a whole in mind.

Executive Officer (XO)
The XO is literally a direct extension of the GL and only answers to the GL. The XO is in complete charge of the guild whenever the GL is not present and has the GL's authority to make on-the-spot decisions for the betterment of the Guild if needed. As with the GL, the XO can assume other officer positions if needed. The XO can override another Officer's decision (with the exception of the GL) if deemed necessary.

Recruiting Officer (RO)
The RO is ultimately responsible for the growth of Grievance and all matters pertaining to recruitment within Grievance. It is the ROÔÇÖs responsibility to indoctrinate new recruits into the Pantheon by going over what is expected of them.

Officer (O)
The Officer is directly responsible for certain tasks within the pantheon itself. These tasks can range from Raid management, managing the Pantheon Bank, organizing crafters, assisting with recruiting, or just being responsible for get groups going on a daily basis. Officers are appointed by the Pantheon Leader.

Raid Leader (RL)
The RL is responsible for setting up and scheduling raids and pantheon wide events for Grievance. Schedules will be posted 24 ÔÇô 48hrs in advance and will usually (not always) cover a full week. Raid schedules must be communicated to the GL in advance for approval before being submitted. The RL is responsible for ensuring the provision of flasks and food for raid members. While leading a raid, members may discuss strategy with the RL in tells or request to discuss it in TS. No member is to openly contradict or talk over the RL.

Warlord (WL)
The Warlord is responsible for the scheduling, and coordinating of PvP events, this includes (with coordination of PL, XO, RO) the auction for temples of Pantheon Wars. This person is directly responsible for the defense of any guild owned locations, and as such, has emergency powers to enact a CTA (call to arms) for the defense of guild interests as well as give out instructions that must be followed in order to achieve objectives. Additionally, the WL has the right to appoint temporary representatives to perform specific tasks during a CTA or scheduled event (and only on these occasions). All scheduled events must be communicated to the GL in advance for approval before being submitted. The WL answers only to the GL and the XO.

Raider
These Members have met the qualifications to be considered active raiding members. Said members will take priority and be chosen to participate in raids before other members within Grievance. Any member may be a raider as long as they are able to fully commit to the raider requirements.

Senior Members
Senior Members are those that have contributed to the pantheon over an extended period of time. Senior Members may become raiders, but must meet minimum Raider requirements prior to doing so.

Members
Members are those that wish to enjoy the family aspect of Grievance without the obligations of having to raid. At no time will Members be required to raid unless they wish to and the opportunity is there for them to do so. Members may become raiders, but must meet minimum Raider requirements prior to doing so.

Recruits
Upon being accepted into Grievance, a new member is considered a recruit and has three weeks to meet certain Pantheon qualifications. Recruits may join in TeamSpeak and also join in various pantheon activities, as space permits.

**Sidenote** Given the unique structuring of the in-game pantheon system, these ranks may only exists in spirit, and not necessarily have a physical standing in the game itself.

General Rules & "Play Nice" Rules

- No Snubbing (This is where a player leaves a pantheon group to join another group for no apparent justification other than just switching groups)
- No extensive swearing or swearing directly at fellow pantheon members.
- No political, racial, or religious slurs.
- No excessive sexual chatting.
- Members are required to at least listen in TeamSpeak3. Since this is a free service & earphones are extremely inexpensive, this should not be a problem.
- If you are caught applying for another pantheon while still in Grievance you will be removed immediately.
- Cliques: It's ok to play with your friends, but as an member in Skyforge we expect you to "spread yourself around" a bit. Please always try and group with different people at different times for the betterment of the pantheon. Excluding individuals purposely (other than they don't meet requirements), is prohibited.

Pantheon Bank Rules
-Members are not required to deposit Money in the pantheon bank; however donations will be gladly accepted of any size to fund pantheon construction.
-All construction and progression of the Pantheon buildings will be initiated by the Pantheon Leader unless otherwise arranged previously.

Should a player desire to raid with more than one pantheon the following will hold true:
-The player must adhere to the raid rules and meet the raid requirements of the alternate pantheon(s) they wish to raid with;
-They are not to attend raids in the alternate pantheon to the detriment of supporting raiding in their main pantheon;
-The player will not be allowed to take the spot of a member/raider of the alternate pantheon and will be the first to be requested to leave a raid should a raider or member of the alternate pantheon want to join the raid and no spots are available;
-In the event the alternate pantheon's raid needs to be made smaller to accomplish a goal, the player will be asked to leave prior to any members or raiders.

Looting System
Since the loot function of this game is personal loot, there will be no loot system in place. This is subject to change as functionality of high end content may deem necessary.

Grievance is a multi-gaming organization. As such, we encourage folks to enjoy various games and pantheons. That said, each member of Grievance must designate a "main" game. It is the expectation that the player will spend a majority of their time in the main game and if they desire to raid, will attend raids in accordance with the raid rules of their main game. These rules are in place to ensure that those in their main game get the full benefit of raiding.
