Taken from a comment on reddit. But seems accurate seeing as we follow the TW version.



From TW it's 10 crystals for 1 legendary soul shield piece for all the colored moonlight crystals + lots of flowers from midnight skypetal plains.. The soul shields still have rng stats so you most likely need 100+ green crystals to get first 3 pieces maxed out or less if luck is on your side
Green = 123 asura/twisted
Yellow = 45 desolate tomb/ebondrake citadel
Purple = 678 hells furnace/naryu sanctum.
The numbers above is which soul shields you can get with said colored crystals and where to get them
After you obtain legendary Soul shield piece chest from a vender in midnight skypetal plains with crystals and flowers, you will need a separate key that you can get in the same area from chests (RNG) or buying them with 10 stingers and 2-3 moonstones for 1 key. It's 3 to 7 keys depending on how high the piece number is..

"As long as you're doing the dungeons its not too difficult. The petals drop fairly frequently in Cold Storage and most people pass on them nowadays (10 petals=1 flower). Also, the price on flowers dropped quite a bit. "


"From doing the 4 dailies in midnight skypetal plains you get 16 pieces of a flower.. You need 20 pieces to make a full flower. Every time you kill Turtle (main boss) you proceed to the next stage to kill Turtle again. After stage 2 he starts giving you a single piece of a flower. There are more ways to get it in the 24 man but I forgot.

Just keep doing it.. It's not that hard

You can only do midnight skypetal plains in a pre made 24 man group.. You can't enter it solo and do it because the instance is only for the party but you can still join midway if you are invited to the party that is doing it"
