Understanding your role in a group(PvE)

Hey all,
I know everyone is putting forth their best effort to learn their class and be as beneficial as they can in a group PvE(4-6man) situation. It does seem however that some people aren't really sure about what exactly they should be doing while grouped up.
BM/KFM- If you are playing one of these two classes and are the only one in the group you will be expected to "tank" bosses while still maintaining dps. This means that you should spec into some of your threat skills to help hold aggro. If you have a threat bracelet you should be wearing it. You need to learn how and when to iframe to minimize dps downtime. If there is another BM/KFM in your group talk with each other and decide who will tank.
Destroyer- The Destroyer is a dps/support class, you are NOT a tank. The dps part of this is pretty self explanatory. The support side of things is where some people seem to miss out. It is your job to help cc the bosses and mobs as much as possible, while maintaining dps. This means stun, daze, grab, knockdowns are your bread and butter in a group pve situation. If you grab a mob DON'T run away with it and try to avoid air combos at all costs as they are a huge dps loss.
FM- A dps class with a few support abilities. Your main job is to try to put out as much dps as possible and use your support abilities when needed, these are very situational depending on the mobs in question. For example your frost shield is great for helping out team mates trying to avoid huge aoe's.
BD- Similar to the FM the BD is a dps class with a few support abilities mainly your grab. Same thing applies here as with destroyer if you grab a boss, don't run away with it, just stand there and let your party burn as much hp as possible.
SIN- Very much a straight forward dps class, try to keep yourself in stealth and dps as much as possible.
SUM- The summoner is a jack of all trades type class. You can main "tank" if spec'd for it just make sure you are aware of your cats positioning as well as their taunt timer and cd. The main job is dps and support. It is not your job to heal, your job is to dps and try to maintain your cc. If your party is reliant upon you for healing then they are doing something wrong. Ask your team before you start your run if they want you to buffer their hp or to regen their focus.
If there is anyone who would like to talk about their class or would like some help figuring out when and how to use certain skills please ask for some assistance. We have some people with a ton of knowledge on these classes and they are willing to help you out, but they can't do so if you don't ask.
