Temporary Stop on New Recruits
Temporary Stop on New Recruits
I would like everyone to know that I will be putting a temporary stop to bringing in new recruits until we can get the clan ranked up a little bit. As we unlock more slots I will be bringing in members in the order that their applications have came in. I hope everyone can understand where I am coming from on this matter. I apologize to everyone that is having to wait but, the game mechanics have my hands tied at the moment. Please be patient.
Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
We had the same situation in Skyforge and I can't stress enough to just be patient. Guild spots will increase in time!

Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
Yes not being in guild is an inconvenience but TS is our guild channel. We can still play together and group up using voice chat. Stick with us and everyone will get squared away soon!

Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
Is it possible to post where we are ranked on the waiting list? We really need to know because if for example I am 35th on the waiting list then basically I am not getting in with a max limit of 80 per clan.
Clan Rank 3 will be fairly easy to achieve however that will only increase the maximum clan members by 10, from 50-60. After, Clan Rank 10 has to be achieved for another 10 person increase and level 10 will take a significant amount to achieve.
I would also ask that alts are not allowed in the clan if we really have that many people as it wouldn't be fair otherwise.

Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
I don't believe we have that many people waiting for an invite, but we will be finalizing a list. Also we have said no alts in guild from the very start. Typically some people will stop playing after a week or so and spots may open up, but we will have to see. Otherwise we have some other things to talk about. We'll do our best to accompany everyone ASAP. Hang in there and stay tuned for more info.dazin wrote:Is it possible to post where we are ranked on the waiting list? Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
I hate to take a hard line on this but with the limited slots available in guild I would say everyone in guild should be in TS always. The guild is social, why else be part of the guild's . If you aren't partying with us and aren't in TS chatting with us, there are people who are who don't have a slot available...
I know everyone who is in guild so far has invested in a founders pack so hopefully you're here for the long haul. But please if you are disinterested in the game please let one of the officers or someone know so we can free up a slot for someone who is playing regularly.

Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
We have many members who have hit level cap already and many members who are still in the teens. Requesting that people constantly be in TeamSpeak isn't realistic because the constant chatter can distract from the game. I haven't gone through the whole story line and when I get to a new part in the story I like to know what is going on. As far as the main story line (Yellow quests) goes I'm nerdy that way.Sera wrote:I hate to take a hard line on this but with the limited slots available in guild I would say everyone in guild should be in TS always. That said, the TeamSpeak channel is slightly intimidating. There was one person, whose name escapes me at the moment (my apologies!), that on Saturday popped back and forth to ask if anyone wanted to run the lvl 20 dungeon. Aside from that, it seems you all know each other from other games, mostly Archeage. I try to talk and be social and answer questions when they come up (if I know the answers) but I'm mostly ignored. It's almost as if there's already a clique that has formed. If you want to remove me because I'm not "social" enough, go ahead. By all means, I won't take it personally. Especially if there's someone better suited for the spot. This particular experience is much different than what I have had with Grievance Neverwinter and Grievance ESO. It honestly has made me question if this guild is where I want to be for B&S.
Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
The cliques are perceived but in my experience they don't really exist. Grievance is just great at treating people like they've been around forever. I'm sorry you have felt ignored but I'm not sure why that is. I can assure you no one is ignoring on purpose. You don't have to be in TS all the time but it is the easiest way to ask questions and find groups especially now since we are in 2 guilds. This is my first game with Grievance and everyone has treated me like I've always been here. Please don't feel intimidated as we don't intend for it to be that way for you. There's no need to leave or for us to kick you, we just need to find a way to make you feel comfortable and get in your groove. I'm leveling slowly and am only level 16. If you ever want to Group add Eldrek Grimshade to friends and we could hop into a quieter TS channel and work through some things there. If there's anything else I can help you with please let me know. We are family here, even the first day members. Hope to talk to you soon!Acerbic wrote:We have many members who have hit level cap already and many members who are still in the teens. Re: Temporary Stop on New Recruits
I am really sorry to hear that you feel this way Acerbic, and you are right, a lot of the members do know each other from other games. I however have only been in other games with a handful of the members that we have here, but I am trying to get to know as many of them as possible, not only because I am the leader but because no matter what game I have played I felt like I belonged. If there is anything that you want to talk about I'm here, just get a hold of me in TS or on the forums and we can get together and chat.
