Good tips for name reservation

I cannot take credit for these as I found them on the official forum and wanted to pass them along.

Select your race/class, skip customization and go directly to naming your character(s).

Switch over to the EU server to work on the actual appearance of your character(s). When finished, save the appearance.

Switch back to NA, delete your character. Once the delete timer is finished, select race/class, use your saved appearance, name. All done. My 2 cents on this part would be to wait until the end of the name reservation as I would think it would not be super busy and the slight risk someone grabs your name is greatly lessened.

The whole idea is you get to quickly reserve your character name and then work on the appearance without being rushed AND you get to save your appearance voucher(s) for later.

If you have name reservation you have an appearance item you can use to customize at launch. That's what I'm going to do.

Or if you saved your settings from beta *looks pointedly around the room* its a simple load that up and go. Of course I had a post on how to do that but not sure its on the front page anymore.

Actually when you uninstall the CB client the character appearances you saved stay. Well they did for me. Now if you did not save any appearance that is a different story

Still there are some new character creation options. I want to check them out before deciding on my appearance.

Well I saved my black eyed demonic Blade Master from Beta, so if it stays for launch, I think I'm covered on appearance there.
