Greetings!

Post by MIdoriko » Tue Nov 10, 2015 8:18 pm

Hi everyone. I'm here due to a post on the Blade & Soul forum suggesting that Grievance would be a cool place to settle down. I've been doing online games since Ultima Online, though EQ1 was what really hooked me.

I guess I'm one of the older applicants as I have grandchildren already. My current residence is in the Pacific Northwest of the US. When there's a game that I truly enjoy, I play about 4 or 5 days a week, but I've long ago learned to moderate my hours - which is probably why I'm still happily married.

While I enjoy all aspects of MMOs, I've always been particularly addicted to exploring, even if I'm really too low in level to explore a zone safely, and I'm always involved in crafting. I like making stuff for guild support, which is why I'm so drawn to Blade & Soul since they've made it absolutely impossible for someone to loot a guild bank. (Been on the short of that stick before.) Co-op crafting is something I've not seen before but I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

I enjoy helping new players figure out what to do. Let's see... I was a guide in EQ1 and ended up reviewing applications for guide positions.

When my grandchildren come to visit, gaming stops. I'd rather play with them!

For this game Summoner and Blade Dancer look the most interesting so far.

Looking forward to the chance to work with and game with everyone!

Welcome to Grievance!

Your account will be updated soon. When that happens your name will change from pink to green and you will have access to the Teamspeak info and the Member sub-forums. The Blade and Soul TS channel will probably be pretty quiet until this weekend, but there are a few of us that stop in every day just to see if anyone is around. Would like to get a chance to chat with you before this weekend if possible, please let me know a day and time that work for you. Glad to have you as part of the family, see you soon.

I'm pretty much available the next three days as I'll be working from home and won't have to go in to work (I hope). Currently don't know where my headset is if you're referring to Teamspeak, but I can probably find it and get my software updated (if there's a new version in the past six months or so). So if you want to text chat, pretty much any time is good that will work from you from 7AM Pacific to 10 PM Pacific. Voice chat, I'll have to do before 8AM Pacific, or after 5:30 as I have to field calls from work even if I'm at home.
