I bought the collectors edition to try out the Alchemist. I have progressed to the point where I have opened the main atlas. Now I want to try Gunner, is the path to Gunner only accessible from the Lightbrigher path? Or can I go from Alchemist to open Gunner? I say that because when I did a Find Path on Gunner the blue liner went from Light Bringer to Gunner.

To unlock a new class, the game requires you to start from one of the 3 starter classes - Lightbinder, Cryo, Paladin.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. I guess that's why I don't see Alchemists running around.

If you right click on the node you want and click find path it will show you the shortest path available to you.

Right Gandomel, that's what I was saying I did that and it seemed I could only get to Gunner from Light bringer. So if I only played Alchemist I can't unlock anything??

If you decide to only play Alchemist for a long time, I believe you start getting Sparks of Evolution once you have unlocked all your skills in talents. Those sparks can be spent on any other class to unlock their skills. That way you don't have to play any other class in the game if you don't want to.

Correct me if I'm wrong please, someone.

So if I complete the alchemist skill tree. I can buy the gunner unlock?? Am I understanding that correctly?

Yeah. You unlock Gunner from one of the 3 starter classes with "Find Path" using colored sparks. Once you unlock Gunner, and open up the class sparks, you use SoE on those Gunner skills.

I'm going off from what I've been hearing in TS.

Ok so sounds like I misunderstood, I have to go through one of the starter classes to unlock Gunner. I can't unlock it from Alchemist.
